Charleston, South Carolina (WCBD) – The Port of South Carolina announced Tuesday $252,500 in prizes for 90 nonprofits and community organizations across the state.

According to SCPA, the grants awarded came from SC Ports’ Community Giving Program for fiscal year 2023, with the agency donating a portion of the proceeds each year to support charities.

Grant recipients include Eastside Community Development Corporation, Incringing HOPE, The Green Heart Project, Audubon South Carolina, Beyond Our Walls, Wounded Nature-Working Veterans, and many other organizations.
