Officials aren’t sure where the leak is coming from. The mayor is urging business owners to check their property if they have been closed for some time.
Ramsoul, North Carolina — the town of Ramsur According to town officials, a major water leak has occurred and has not been found.
On Monday, officials said they are now looking for the primary cause of the leak.
The mayor said they found two small leaks. One is in front of a private house. Another one is in front of the building. They hope the leak they found is all an isolated issue with a burst pipe.
Crew members are searching everywhere they can to find the source of the problem. Arctic blasts in recent days may have caused water leaks in residents’ homes.
Officials are urging communities to check neighbors’ homes to see if anything is leaking if they’re out on holiday. They also, if they own a business, check to see if it’s closed for possible leaks.
