    The current free version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) has been replaced by Google Analytics 4 (GA4).do you know how Google GA4 Analytics Announcement Will it affect small businesses and blogs?

    “Universal Analytics will no longer process new data for standard properties. July 1, 2023Set up and switch to your Google Analytics 4 property and get ready today. “

    The data remains in Universal Analytics. December 31, 2023. And if you haven’t exported it somewhere (using something like this) super metrics), ceases to exist.

    You can also select and copy/paste the data you want to save. In GA4, data is only stored for 2 months by default.

    You can change the default to 14 months. If you do not change the default, you will lose your data.
    Free GA4 keeps data only for 14 months.

    If you want to keep your data for more than 14 months, you need to upgrade to paid BigQuery.

    GA4 is not the same tool as Universal Analytics. It has different data models, reports, and implementation processes. So you can’t just sit back and wait to switch it on.
