The data remains in Universal Analytics. December 31, 2023. And if you haven’t exported it somewhere (using something like this) super metrics), ceases to exist.
You can also select and copy/paste the data you want to save. In GA4, data is only stored for 2 months by default.
You can change the default to 14 months. If you do not change the default, you will lose your data.
Free GA4 keeps data only for 14 months.If you want to keep your data for more than 14 months, you need to upgrade to paid BigQuery.
