GREENVILLE, South Carolina (WSPA) — Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have made two more arrests in connection with the deaths of Clarissa Winchester and her child.
Michael Thomas Burnett and Melissa Michelle Burnett were charged with false felony charges for failing to report the crime. They both attended hearings on Saturday night.
The pregnant Winchester was found dead at her home on Sawmill Road earlier this month.
Her estranged boyfriend, Tyler Wilkins, has been charged with kidnapping, murder, and wrongful neglect of a child.

The arrest warrant revealed that after Wilkins beat the Winchesters to death, he did not seek medical attention for the infant, who later turned out to be his child.
The Winchester family was in court on Saturday when Burnett appeared before a judge.
“Our whole family was devastated by this,” Clarissa’s father, Michael Winchester, said. “Our daughter was big-hearted and kind to everyone.”
A judge set a bond of $20,000 each for both suspects.
Michael and Melissa Barnett remained in jail at the Greenville County Detention Center on Saturday night.
