Woman killed in one-car crash in Pickens County, police say
The accident happened on Sunday morning
A woman died in a crash in Pickens County Sunday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Greenville, according to the coroner’s office. Troopers smashed Anderson’s 21-year-old Lyanna Robinson off the side of the road and hit an embankment and a utility guide wire. Troopers said the vehicle overturned and hit a tree, and Robinson was thrown out of the vehicle.There were no passengers in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.Death at scene.

Coroners said the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Greenville.
Troopers said 21-year-old Anderson resident Lyanna Robinson veered off the side of the road and hit a bank and utility guide wire. Troopers said the vehicle overturned and hit a tree, forcing Robinson out of the vehicle.
There were no passengers in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved, agents said.
The coroner said Robinson died of blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
