The North Carolina Aquarium, located at Fort Fisher, Pine Knoll Shores, and Roanoke Island, will welcome and thank military families on Friday, November 11 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. U.S. military and their dependents.
“Our staff, volunteers and visitors look forward to thanking the many past and present Service Members and their families at the Veterans Day Aquarium. We are grateful for their sacrifices and can’t wait to have them as our special guests for the day,” said Mayron White, director of the North Carolina Aquarium.
Aquariums offer visitors immersive and stimulating opportunities, from animal encounters to enriching time. Staff will include a patriotic salute during the activity. To facilitate a special experience for military families, the Aquarium is reminding all visitors that advance tickets are required for entry.Holidays and special occasions are immediately available at the Aquarium It will sell out. Visitors are encouraged to book tickets and plan their trips at any of his three NC Aquariums before visiting.
The aquarium also encourages military personnel to have military ID cards for themselves and their families to qualify for free admission.
