Raleigh North Carolina (WNCN) — The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission has announced proposed changes for 2023-2024.
The proposed changes will affect inland fishing, hunting, trapping, game lands and other regulated activities, wildlife officials said in a release.

And to hear your voice, officials said they will hold three in-person hearings in January.
- January 10, 2023, Craven County CourthouseDistrict Court #4, New Bern.
- January 12, 2023, Old Asheboro CourthouseAsheboro.
- January 17, 2023, McDowell Technical Community CollegeCedarville, Marion.
Also, if you are unable to have an in-person hearing, there will be a virtual hearing on January 19, 2023, but you will need to register.

Authorities are accepting public comments until the end of January.
