GREENVILLE COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA (WSPA) — Greenville hopes to attract LEGO enthusiasts of all ages to the city with its first fan convention in August.

Professional LEGO artists from across the country will showcase their work and meet with fans. Greenville Brick Convention August 26-27.

The event at the Greenville Shrine Club and Event Center will benefit Creations for Charity, an organization that purchases new LEGO sets for underprivileged children around the world during the holidays. A portion of the proceeds will go to all volunteer non-profit organizations.

LEGO fans can unleash their creativity in the Construction Zone with thousands of bricks. You can see and participate in galleries of extraordinary life-size LEGO models, as well as live builds.

  • LEGO Retail: Buy LEGO merchandise, discontinued LEGO sets, new LEGO sets, hard-to-find LEGOs, and merch from a variety of vendors
  • Star Wars Zone: Awesome LEGO Creations from the Star Wars Universe
  • Brick Pit: Build with thousands of LEGO bricks
  • Castle Build Zone: Assemble medieval LEGO creations on the fly
  • Meet and greet with a professional LEGO artist
  • Fun Zone: Epic LEGO creations by local fan builders
